There are 3 CHEAT CODES when it comes to leading in uncertain and frustrating times. Leaders who constantly practice them will be the ones who get ahead. They are: Clarity, Competence and Culture. I grew up in the age of video games but before there was widespread internet access. We used to have to go to the store to buy a magazine with the game walkthrough, or the tips and tricks, or the cheat codes. There are 3 things that you can constantly focus on that are almost as good as cheat codes: Create Clarity, Grow Competence and Build Culture.

There are 3 things that you can constantly focus on that are almost as good as cheat codes.

Create Clarity - If you want to lead in uncertain and frustrating times, create clarity.
Grow Competence - Competency is a cheat code because continuous learning, growth and improvement is the only way forward through uncertainty and change.
Build Culture - Bad culture won’t be tolerated anymore. Want a cheat code to lead during uncertainty and frustration? Be part of creating a great culture.
