The work of shaping the future, whether that is for your home, community, team or organization, really comes to life when we’re working together. Individuals going through this learning framework will experience great personal and professional growth. But true systemic change happens when individuals come together with others for mutual learning, sharing, practicing, reflection and implementation.
If you’re an individual going through this coaching framework, congratulations! Your learning, practicing and growth will be a gift to those around you. I encourage you to share what you are learning. You could ask for feedback on your progress. I bet you will also see opportunities to help others grow in many of the areas you are practicing.
Full teams and entire organizations are also using this coaching framework. Some are using the teaching videos, practices and questions for reflection in team meetings. Others are using the content for a team retreat. As with all coaching and learning, we grow the most when we’re practicing and processing with others. The Leadership + Creativity = Impact Coaching Framework provides common language and practices to discuss as well as notice, share and celebrate together.
While the Course Project was originally set up so that individuals would have their own creation at the end, I am very curious about teams creating a project together. I believe that our richest work comes when teams and organizations set their sights on a better vision of tomorrow, identify the steps and strengths necessary, and invest their collective resources to arrive. I think approaching a team’s yearly goal or even an organization’s strategic plan as a course project would be a valuable endeavor.
